This is how it looked for about 3 weeks. I didn't want to unpack because I thought I was moving into the apartment soon. It seemed easier to live out of boxes and suitcases then unpack/repack twice. Not a fun feeling, though.
Now this is how it looks once I realize I won't move into the apartment and my mom forced an unpack upon me. (I'm stubborn, I had a good cry about the unfairness of the apartment situation and a stubborn attempt to find a replacement apartment.) This is the desk area with Poe's glowing eyes. I am sitting there RIGHT NOW!
My hastily attempt at making a bed and all my brother's artwork still on the walls. Oh! And a TV with cable! Haven't had that in months. I've been enjoying all these cool shows I missed like Storage Wars, Extreme Couponing, etc.
Thumbs up for my own bathroom!It's not too exciting, but like Biz pointed out in my other post, at least I can stash some cash in the meantime I'd otherwise be spending on rent.
So, there it is - my home for ...the next few weeks? ...the summer? ...the next few months? Who knows!? Hopefully the house will sell soon, Johnny can come out here, then we can move into our own place together. Because I'm really starting to miss him. :(

Moving back in with the parents is never fun, but it is a cash saver!
I'm actually counting down to December for you and Johnny. I know how hard it is to do long distance and make it work. Fortunately you two have a great relationship so this little blip is only temporary.
By the way, Poe looks evil. I'm just sayin'... Where's Corky? I miss that cute little pup.
I will be in the same boat here shortly. I understand you have a little more stress b/c you don't know when the end will come. Face the Facts and Deal with the emotions it will make coping easier from a day to day bases. its okay to be upset. just don't let it stop you from living your life :*
@Kim - hopefully the house will sell before December! That would suck to have the wedding, then have to go back to 2 separate states to live apart again. I'll have to dig up some Corky pics for you!

Hi Christina! That stinks - it's no fun when plans don't turn out like you want them to. I know in the long run it will all work out. I'm keeping my fingers crossed your house sells ASAP!
Moving is NEVER fun. Hang in there...you'll be in your own place soon! (and will be able to unpack the froggy dish! :) ) Have a good 4th
