Friday Firsts - Piggy Whisk
Happy Friday everybody!! If you need more information about Friday Firsts, click the image above!
When I was in NY last week with my mom, we hit up Marshalls. I love browsing their kitchen aisles for some hidden gems. I found a few jars of my favorite fig jam and this adorable little piggy whisk! I love pigs, so I had to snatch it up.
While making dinner (Salmon in Lemon Brodetto with Pea Puree - recipe to come this weekend), this was the first time I got to use it!
To participate in Friday Firsts create a blog post featuring a "first" of yours. Next, link that blog post below and tell us about it! If you don't have a blog or a specific post to link to please tell us about your first in the comment section! Any and all participation is welcome!

OMG my sis loves pigs too, or she did she may have outgrown it :) My first is Caldio a Mexican Green Chile Beef stew, so good and easy too.
ReplyDeletewhat a CUTE piggie!!! and your salmon sounds terrific - looking forward to the recipe!
ReplyDeleteHAPPY FRIDAY !!
That whisk is FREAKING cute. Mine is Mr. Egg. :-)
ReplyDeleteThere's a kitchen store near my house and I'm always seeing super cute accessories like pig whisks and cow measuring cups! I guess my first, I'm eating it right now, oatmeal with shredded carrots, honey and ginger! Delicious and nutritious.
ReplyDeleteIt wasn't until last year that my mom talked me in to eating the smushy green stuff called guacamole. She then fixed me an avacado, cut up with garlic salt on it and I loved it.
ReplyDeleteMy husband found Slim-cado's at the grocery store recently and we tried one for the first time. It was really good and less fast than a regular avacado.
I like nothing better than finding whimsical kitchen utensils. They bring a smile to cooking. Marshall's and TJ Maxx are two favorite places for looking.
ReplyDeleteMy mom is pretty much obsessed with pigs--she'd flip over this. So cute!
