Friday Firsts - Halloween Goodies
Hello everybody and Happy Friday! (Click the image above or on my sidebar for more information.)
Between my birthday and Halloween fun around here I'm a little backlogged in posts. I have been trying out some new recipes, but they're just not posted yet!
So for this week my firsts will be a whole bunch of the Halloween fun I've been sharing with you this week.
I've shown you some of the Halloween decor around our house.
And I've shared two really cute recipes - witches' broom cookies and cheesy toes with stinky dip.
Now it's your turn to tell me about your first! To participate in Friday Firsts create a blog post featuring a "first" of yours. Next, link that blog post below and tell us about it! If you don't have a blog or a specific post to link to please tell us about your first in the comment section! Any and all participation is welcome!
If you would like to display the Friday Firsts button as a badge in your post or on your side bar, you can copy and paste the following code:
Seriously. I was chuckling in class while I read your posts (shhhh). People stared and I had to quickly minimize my browser. I LOVE all your halloween antics. I think you'll throw the best halloween bash ever! Even better than UCSB!
ReplyDeleteI seriously will have those toes this weekend... I may make them fingers, or bones ! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'll show you what I make !! :D
HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!
Thanks Sophia! but I'm not having a bash - just sitting at home waiting for the trick-or-treaters. Handing out double handfuls of candy to gaping mouthed kids in awe is one of THE most funnest things in the world to me!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!! XD
ReplyDeleteI can't wait Kristina! (so weird to type that instead of CH!) You'll have to show me - they're so stinking cute!
OK I LOVE the cheese toes they are so so cute--are they like a cheese cookie? or cracker? cause I need a good cheese cracker to make for lunches.
ReplyDeleteok, I'm not really into Halloween but the cheesy toes and dip sound awesome! My kids would love that at a sleepover or something! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love your Halloween food this week. I want cheesy toes!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I want to have a Halloween party just so I can make your cheesy toes and witches' brooms! Look at all that cheese! That is a recipe after my own heart :) I love how you've really gotten into Halloween! Are you dressing up?
ReplyDelete@Debbi - NOT INTO HALLOWEEN!!!??? How can this be!? It's the coolest holiday ever invented!!! Treats, costumes, parties, chilly fall air, walking around the neighborhood, seeing excited faces, sugar comas! What more can one ask for!? hehe :P
ReplyDelete@Maggie - thanks! I've been cracking myself up.
@Jessie - Of COURSE I'm dressing up!!! :D I'm the designated candy passer outer. I love it so much!
Christina, you are so darn creative! Those are adorable, er, I mean really scary :)
